Trained in clinical mental health and school counseling, Dr. Laura Bruneau has a B.A. in psychology from Miami University, an M.Ed. in community counseling, and a Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision from Kent State University. Dr. Bruneau is passionate about training the next generation of counselors to be ethical, reflective, and engaged practitioners. Her specialty areas of interest include creativity in counseling, bibliotherapy, and animal-assisted interventions. She serves as Assistant School Director in the School of Counselor Education at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado, and enjoys mentoring doctoral students in their research and professional development.
