Dr. Hana Meshesha is a faculty member in the Department of Counseling at Idaho State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Montana in 2023. Dr. Meshesha has extensive experience working with college students and individuals with substance use disorders, and previously served nearly a decade as a faculty member at the University of Gondar in Ethiopia, where she trained and supervised future mental health professionals. Her research interests include trauma, forgiveness, disability, clinical supervision, and international counseling. She currently serves as the Chapter Faculty Advisor for ISU’s Chi Sigma Iota chapter, Phi Omicron Chi.
