Dr. Michael Morgan received his PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Purdue University in 2002. He has taught at the University of Wyoming's CACREP accredited MS and Ph.D. program from 2003 until 2025. Since 2025 he has been a core faculty at Saybrook University's CACREP accredited MS and Ph.D. program. He has a post-graduate certificate in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health from the University of Massachusetts, Boston and is level one certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics from the Child Trauma Academy. His clinical experience includes both school counseling and clinical mental health work. He specializes in couples counseling and trauma-informed counseling. He received his LMFT in 1999 and has maintained a private practice since that time. He has published and presented both nationally and internationally on clinical supervision, trauma informed counseling, early childhood mental health, play therapy, and on critical role of empathy in counseling.
