Kris Martin, MA, NCC, LPC, is a doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision at Adams State University. She currently serves as a high school counselor in Colorado, where she sits on the school leadership and MTSS teams, coordinates Section 504 services, and mentors emerging school counselors. In addition to her school-based leadership, she maintains a private practice specializing in adolescent mental health and suicide prevention.
Her scholarly interests include counselor educator attitudes toward emerging technologies, counselor identity development, supervision, and systems leadership. Her current research examines counselor educators’ perceptions of AI-generated role plays and factors influencing technology adoption in CACREP-accredited programs.
