Jessica Gonzalez-Voller holds a Ph.D in education with an emphasis in counselor education from the University of Central Florida, and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Gonzalez-Voller is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor who specializes in working with adults in outpatient/inpatient counseling settings, as well as working with family caregivers and persons with health disparities.
Dr. Gonzalez-Voller has been an associate professor in the Counseling and Career Development master's degree program at CSU since 2015, and is Affiliate Faculty in the Colorado School of Public Health. She is currently the coordinator of the program's Clinical Mental Health Counseling specialization. Some areas of research interest include pyschosocial interventions for people with health disparities and underserved populations, client outcomes in counseling settings, and multicultural issues in counseling.
Some held leadership positions include past president of the Florida Counseling Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development, and ad-hoc reviewer of referred journal
