A doctoral student in Counseling Psychology whose work centers culturally responsive counseling, clinical training, and supervision. Clinical experience includes providing individual counseling and conducting intake and risk-focused assessment within a trauma-informed, equity-minded framework. Supervision experience includes providing individual supervision to master’s-level counselors-in-training, live observation with structured feedback (including mid-session coaching and post-session debriefs), skills-based evaluation of recorded role-plays, and quality assurance of clinical documentation. Also designs and delivers intensive trainings on informed consent, risk assessment, core counseling skills/common factors, ethical decision-making, and HIPAA-aligned documentation to support beginner therapists’ growth and client safety.
