Dr. Marcela Kepič, LPC is a professor at the University of Arizona and a program director of MA counseling program. Her expertise lies in human development across the lifespan, with research focused on the life satisfaction and wellness of adults who experience trauma, loss, and grief. Dr. Kepic is a past president of the Association for Adult Development and Aging (AADA). She is also a member of state, national, and international professional organizations, including ACA, ACES, WACES, AMHCA and Arizona Counseling Association. She contributed to the development of grief counseling competencies for the counseling profession. In addition to contributing to peer-reviewed publications and presenting at national, international, and state conferences, Dr. Kepic serves as a reviewer for a few peer-reviewed journals and is a counseling program liaison for CACREP. She maintains her private practice serving couples and individuals with life challenges and is a passionate educator, supervisor, and mentor.
