Dr. Chris Hull is currently a Professor of Counselor Education and Family Studies at Liberty University (VA) and has held full-time counseling faculty and organizational/administrative leadership positions at John Brown University (AR), Denver Seminary (CO), Grace College (IN), and Argosy University (FL). He served on the Board of Directors for CACREP, including two years at the CACREP Board Chair, and is currently a CACREP Site Visit Team member. Dr. Hull has been active in leadership roles within ACES and ASERVIC as well as within his own community where he presently serves as Board Member for the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas (SPSFNWA). He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arkansas and has held licensure as a professional counselor in the United States (US) since 2003. He is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Dr. Hull has specialized clinical training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 2), Interpersonal Neurobiology and Attachment, and treating addictions. He continues to research, write, and speak on topics related to spiritual competencies in counseling and supervision, counselor development and disposition, spiritual abuse and religious trauma, and emotionally healthy masculinity.
