Dr. Elaine Mora, PhD is an assistant professor at Montana State University Billings. She recently completed her PhD in Rehabilitation Counseling at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) in 2025. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling with a Concentration in Addictions from UTRGV. She is Board Certified (NCC) and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern in Texas. Furthermore, she is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Montana. Her research interests include male and female survivors of sex abuse, existentialism, narrative therapy, grief, psychosocial aspects of disability, multicultural diversity, addictions, forensic assessment, life care planning, and personal injury litigation.
