Gerard Bartlett is doctoral student in counselor education at the university of New Mexico and is an LMHC with a master’s of arts in clinical mental health counseling. His research interests involve considering how to effectively integrate social justice advocacy and physical wellness into counselor education learning paths. He is also a Commander in the Albuquerque Police Department, responding to and managing crisis situations in the Albuquerque community.
