Joshua Noe, MS, LPC (IL & ID), PEL-SC (IL) is a first-year doctoral student at Idaho State University. His specialty practice area is school counseling, where he is passionate about advocating for students, practicing school counselors, and school counseling students. Presenter 2 is a doctoral student specializing in school counseling, holding dual licensure as a school counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Their work experience has been as a school counselor working with students ranging from kindergarten to seniors in high school. The presenter’s research interests include career counseling, child-centered play therapy, rural counseling, and advocacy for school counselors. They have over 20 presentations discussing their work and research at the local, state, university, and international levels. The presenter has also written and received multiple grants to help fund peer-mentoring programs at both the high school and college level. They currently have a position as a grant review board member which provides funding to professional counselors in their home state.
