Juliet Sam-Wiah is a counselor-educator with a strong foundation in teacher education and guidance practice. She holds a Diploma in Basic Education from OLA College of Education in Cape Coast, Ghana, and earned both her bachelor’s degree and Master of Philosophy degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW). Juliet has four peer-reviewed journal publications and has participated in professional conferences, reflecting her commitment to scholarship, professional growth, and advancing effective mental health practice.

With 16 years of teaching experience across multiple levels of education and 11 years of service as a school counselor, Juliet supports student wellbeing through developmentally responsive, ethically grounded, and culturally aware counseling approaches. She is well versed in facilitating professional development workshops for teachers, principals, and counselors, and has held leadership roles within trade unions, church settings, and professional associations. Building on more than a decade in school counseling, she is intentionally transitioning into clinical practice and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at New Mexico Highlands University.
