The presenter is a counselor educator, licensed school counselor, and licensed professional counselor with eight years prior experience as a PK–12 school counselor. Her scholarship focuses on suicide prevention and postvention in school settings, school counselor identity, and crisis response systems. She has conducted qualitative research using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis and has presented regionally and nationally on suicide prevention, crisis leadership, and counselor preparation. Her work emphasizes culturally responsive training and interdisciplinary collaboration between school counselors and administrators during crisis events. She integrates research, practice, and supervision perspectives to translate findings into actionable recommendations for counselor education programs.
