Lauren has been working as a professional counselor for the last 15 years and comes with a wealth of knowledge and varying experiences in the counseling field. She has worked in many different settings, from inpatient addiction treatment, outpatient recreational therapy, community mental health clinics, and her own private practice that she still runs in Northern Colorado. She specializes in trauma and is trained in EMDR. She is also certified in PCIT and has a lot of experience with kids and family. She is now pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and hopes to train up the next generation of counselors to do what she has been passionate about for many years.
