Dr. Vasti Holstun is an associate professor at Liberty University, a CACREP accredited counseling program. She is also the Past President of the Colorado Counseling Association. Prior to becoming a counselor educator, Dr. Holstun was a school counselor for 16 years. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice, where she continues to provide counseling to children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Holstun publishes and presents at state and national conferences on the following topics: burnout, compassion satisfaction, and self-care for counselor educators, integrating spirituality in counseling, mental health in schools, and counseling supervision. She is an associate editor for the Journal of Humanistic Counseling.
