Dr. Michele Mahr is an assistant professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling at Texas Tech University, Health Sciences Center. Her research interests include health promotion, addiction, substance use, and positive psychology. Dr. Mahr has published 3 counselor educator textbooks and has over 20 peer-reviewed publications within the counseling profession. She is currently a principal investigator for a research study on Earthing and is a Co-principal investigator on 3 other research projects at Texas Tech University, Health Sciences Center.
