Dr. Sharon Todd is an energetic counselor educator and Program Director for the Master of Arts in School Counseling at Colorado Christian University. She is a Certified School Counselor (KY), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (KY), board-approved clinical supervisor, Registered Play Therapist, and certified in Choice Theory and Reality Therapy. Dr. Todd has over 20 years of experience working with children and families in public school and private practice settings, specializing in counseling children and adolescents. Her professional interests include play therapy, trauma-informed care, human trafficking prevention and response, and the integration of religious and spiritual practices in counseling, as well as fostering creativity in adult education. She is particularly committed to bridging the gap between play therapy principles and practical, developmentally appropriate applications within the world of school counseling. Dr. Todd is a published author and presenter at international, national, state, and local venues and remains committed to lifelong learning and service through education, clinical practice, and community engagement. Dr. Todd resides in Kentucky with her husband and three daughters. She loves her goats, the color pink, and exploring God's creation around the world with her family.
