Kristin Myers is an Assistant Professor in the Applied Psychology and Counselor Education program at the University of Northern Colorado. Kristin has been in the education field for 23 years starting her career as a school counselor, working at the Colorado Department of Education in foster care education, and transitioning to a faculty role at UNC for the past 4 years and starting a private counseling and consulting practice. Kristin’s research interests include children and youth experiencing foster care, children and youth experiencing homelessness, preparing professional counseling master’s students in suicide prevention and intervention, and school counselor education.
