My name is Courtney Fay(she/her). I was born and raised in a suburb outside of Denver, Colorado. After high school, I moved to Los Angeles, California to attend the University of Southern California where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Screenwriting with a minor in Psychology. To support myself while I chased that dream, I also worked as a college test prep (SAT/ACT) teacher in Los Angeles area high schools. It was there that I discovered my love for working with students in a school setting and helping them find their own dreams to chase. At the urging of many of the school counselors with whom I worked, I decided to pursue a degree in School Counseling. I returned to Colorado and began graduate school at the University of Northern Colorado. Currently, I live in Greeley, Colorado with my husband, our two children and one adorable puppy. The first two years of my career, I worked as a school counselor at Heath Middle School and Greeley Central High School before I accepted my current position at Chappelow K-8 Arts Magnet School where I just started my 14th year.
