Samantha M. Turner, LPC, LPSC, NCC, is a licensed professional and school counselor based in Greenville, South Carolina, with over ten years of experience in both K–12 school counseling and clinical mental health settings. She practiced as a high school counselor for eight years before transitioning to private practice. Samantha specializes in trauma-informed care and is trained in EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Her professional experiences inform her scholarly interests in school counselor burnout, professional identity development, and the ethical integration of spirituality and religion in counselor education. Samantha is currently a doctoral candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Adams State University, where she also serves as an adjunct instructor.
