Dr. Madeleine (Maddy) Stevens is an assistant professor at Adams State University and holds a Ph.D. in counseling and supervision, an MA in Art therapy, and a BA in liberal and studio arts. Dr. Stevens is a licensed clinical mental health counselor in two states and a licensed and nationally board-certified Art Therapist. In all she does, Dr. Stevens brings a creative arts-oriented approach, a humanistic lens, and an interest and commitment to compassion.
